Angela, I received my Healthy Holiday Lovers Variety Pack a few days ago. Delicious! I shared a Present with my husband and we both loved it. The bar was just bursting with some of my favorite fall flavors. I have also tried the Heaven bar which is so appropriately named. It was out of this world. Tonight I had the Empower bar which I was a little skeptical of. I love coffee, but generally I do not enjoy foods that have coffee flavors. This was certainly an exception. I was absolutely blown away by the flavors in this bar. I don't have a favorite because they have all been so great. I am looking forward to trying the Classic and Revive Bars. I am so happy to have discovered your Glo Bars. I have been spreading the word. I wish you all the best with Glo Bakery. Thanks, Aimee

Hi Angela, Just got my latest order from you and I thought I would let you know how impressed I am with your product and the company as a whole. I love the bars and bring one to work with me every day as one of my snacks. I love them and have gotten several people at work interested in Glo Bars also. In fact, this last order was shared with one of the other girls at work and a couple of others want to be included the next time we order. Also, I am always very impressed with the speed and the very meticulous packing job. My friend couldn't believe how quickly we got this order and when I opened the box and showed her how neatly and efficiently it was packed, she was as impressed as I always am. I feel like a little kid on Christmas. I just got my box of glo bars in the mail and ripped them open! The Adore bar is AMAZING!!! I only wish I had bought more than 2 variety packs now that I've tasted it... guess I'll just have to order more :) If you had a store that sold them in San Diego, they would fly off the shelf; I'm certain of it! Good Morning Angela!
I'm writing to you about your Christmas Special of Glo Bars that I sent to my friend Darin.  As a vegan (in Georgia no less!) he says it's often hard for his family to find vegan-friendly gifts for him (especially since they aren't vegan), and he thinks those Glo Bars are one of the nicest gifts he's ever received!!  He has raved to me so many times about how good they are, noting that the PB Chocolate and the Coffee ones are "out of this world!"  He has been enjoying one every morning for breakfast.  
And now I'm totally going to have to order myself a Glo Bar Resolution Fit Pack!!!
Thank you so much for making such a wonderful, healthy, vegan (!!) gift for my dear friend!  There is no better feeling than giving someone something they love as a gift, and you made it happen!  You are amazing!!

Morning Angela!

I just received my box of Glo Bars this morning and I’ve been so excited since I ordered them this week!  I have just had a few bites of a Present bar (because naturally I tore right into them when I saw the box at my door when I got home).  But these few bites were out of this world!

Despite how fantastic they are, what really blew me away the most was the personal feeling of the whole process.  Just the note that was included in the email of my order confirmation really made me feel like you knew me and was very thoughtful.  I also loved opening the box…seeing the bars I’ve seen on your blog for so long (and the characteristic green crinkles!) just really made me feel connected!  I think one of the things with reading blogs that I find is that it’s almost an out-of-body experience or feels like a different world from the one I live everyday in the sense that it only happens when I’m in front of my computer.  To have these Glo Bars connect me in my real world to your world was really affirming for me!

This may just seem like blabbering on and on…hahah….but I really just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your personal touches!

Hi Angela,

I remember looking forward to your opening up US shipping and at the same time wondering if they’d really be “better” than the packaged bars.

Well, they are not only better, I am tempted to order your entire inventory at one time to ensure an uninterrupted supply.  Seriously.  I’m on the road for work this week and put a few bars in my briefcase.  I rarely have time for a real breakfast and always try to fit workouts in on the road and these have been PERFECT.  I really can’t abide the taste of packaged bars now, I only want my Glo Bars.

PS- anxiously hoping the hubby picked up my latest order at the Post Office while I’m playing road warrior yet again … there were only 2 left in the pantry!

I’m not sure if you know this, but I was the lucky bidder of your Globars from the Healthy Living Summit.  I wasn’t originally going to bid on anything (I had donated Chocolate Chip Macademia Nut Cookies) just because there were so many other ladies there and I thought that the amounts would get to be too much for my wallet.  About halfway through the day, I got so hungry I was worried that the entire room could hear my stomach growling.  I dug into my Swag Bag and pulled out your Globar.  Let me first say that I have been obsessed with these beauties for a long time; I even emailed you a few days before your U.S. Shipping post to ask when you would have them available.  I have basically been stalking you ever since (ok, let’s be real, I have been blog-stalking you since December). 

When I took my first bite of the Classic Globar……OH MY GOODNESS.  I put the darn thing back down and went directly to the bake sale to bid on them.  They were one of the more popular items, and the bidding was already at $45.  I just had to have them.  I immediately bid $60 (yes..I was that girl who made a ridiculous jump in bid amounts…but come on, they’re GloBars!).  I then stood there in front of them guarding them.  I tried to scare off all the other bidders, hahhaa.  Finally they were mine.  And let me tell you, they did not disappoint.  I have aleady posted a few times on my blog about them, and I’m going to continue posting every single time I have one. 

I just wanted to thank you for donating them, and also for creating them. You are truly talented and have such an amazing future in front of you as a baker.  They are without a doubt the best bars I have ever eaten (taste, texture, and nutrition-wise).  You can bet that I will be one of your biggest customers once you get the shipping set up for the US.

Here is my awesome Glo Bar story.  I just couldn’t pass up sharing it with you.  
 
I packed several up to take with me on a weekend trip to New Orleans.  We were hungry when we got on the plane, so I pulled out my Glo bars to show my boyfriend and share one with him.  After we had eaten our Glo bar and were looking at all of the other flavors with thier ingredients and nutrition info, the flight attendant brought around bags of their complimentary snack mix.   We looked at the snack mix in comparison to the Glo bars and were kind of disgusted – a 28g bag had more sodium than all 5 of the different Glo bars we had.   The ingredient list had several names we couldn’t pronounce and more dehydrated, rehydrated, and artificially colored things than we wanted to think about.
We both admitted that we would have just eaten the snack mix unconsiously if we hadn’t been looking at something much better (and better for us!)
The whole weekend we started the morning with a Glo bar while we were getting ready to head out for the day.  All of them were yummy and we could feel the little extra bursts of energy after eating the Chi bar. 
 
My boyfriend was heading out for a work trip at the beginning of this week, so I took him a bag of glo bars.  He sent me a note one morning that he was being teased (by a guy eating a plate full of biscuits and sausage gravy with extra sausage and bacon ) for eating some melon and a Glo bar for breakfast.  I could tell he was really proud of making such a good decision and he mentioned feeling good all day and not weighed down by all that junk the other guys were eating. 
He has already promised to restock our Glo bar supply when we run out.  He also told several people at his work conference about your bars and passed on the name and the web address. 
 
Thanks for your blog and all of the healthy eating and thinking inspiration that you have given me (and that I’m now able to pass on too!)

Hey Angela, I just had to let you know that I got my first Glo Bakery order today and I am SO unbelievably pleased!!!  The packaging, the shipping time, the adorable card:)… everything is just great.  I can only imagine how much hard work you have to put into what you do, and it makes ordering from you just that much more worth it when it is so personal and caring.  Not to mention the fact that both bars I’ve had so far (2 in the last 45 minutes…heheheh) have been flawless!  I am just so pleased, and I can’t wait to get my next order (the halloween chocolatey one!).

Hey Angela,

I attended the Healthy Living Summit. I just wanted to drop you a note. I almost fell on my head in delight with how delicious your Glo Bars are.  I had the classic in the swag bag.  I bid twice for your batch of them for TNT. Someone else won, so I literally negotiated with the winner to trade some cookies I won for another Glo bar.  Thankfully the winner was a sweetheart and allowed me three more bars and I’ve been in Heaven ever since.
They are SO good, natural, not too sweet, filling, and just enough peanut butter taste.  I’m officially obsessed! I can’t wait until you’re good to go for US shipments.
I’ve been reading OSG since you began. While I’m on my tangent, I just want to let you know how much you’ve impressed me with your personal growth “Oh She Grows” haha and your writing.  You really mean so much to me.
